Board of Ordained Ministry Distributes
Ministerial Scholarship Fund: Income from the fund is available for scholarship assistance to ministerial students.
P.B. Smith Scholarship Fund: Created by P.B. and Lois Smith to establish scholarship aid to young persons going into the ministry.
Draper Scholarship Trust: Created by Icea and Morris Draper. Income to be used for the education of Christian young men and women for ministerial and missionary work.
Lesh Memorial Trust: Created by Herschel and Guinevere Lesh to provide scholarship assistance to young men and women preparing for ministry in the United Methodist Church.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A BOARD OF ORDAINED MINISTRY SCHOLARSHIP:
At the time of commissioning the probationary members in the North Indiana Conference, the Board of ordained Ministry will notify each new probationary member of the existence of these Funds, the guidelines of the Funds, and their possible eligibility to apply for a grant.
