Foundation Grant Committee Distributes

Foundation Operating Fund:  Reserves in excess of Board established minimums may be used to make grants for any purpose as recommended by the Foundation Grants Committee and approved by the Foundation Board.

Evangelism Endowment Fund:  The Foundation has established this fund to assist responsible evangelism efforts in the North Indiana Conference.  This fund is intended to be one of many resources for evangelism funding.  Income distributions shall be made annually to specific evangelism ministries. 

Mission Endowment Fund:  Income from the fund to be distributed as needed for missions. 

HOW TO APPLY FOR A GRANT FROM THE FOUNDATION GRANT COMMITTEE: 

  1. Applications for grants shall be made to the Foundation on the “Grant Application” form.

  2. Applications for grants must be submitted to the Foundation prior to December 31 of each year.

  3. All inquiries regarding the grants program of the North Indiana United Methodist Foundation, Inc. should be to the Foundation in writing or by calling  765-664-2327 or 866-669-2327.

 

Helen Seitz Memorial Fund: The income from this fund will be used to grant scholarships for students from the North Indiana Conference of the UMC.  Such scholarships shall be granted to seminary students from NIC seeking a degree in Christian Education and plan to devote their lives to Christian Education in the United Methodist Church.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A HELEN SEITZ GRANT FROM THE FOUNDATION GRANT COMMITTEE: 

  1. Applications for grants shall be made to the Foundation on the “Helen Seitz Grant Application” form.

  2. Applications must show clearly a need and not be fully funded from other sources.

  3. Applications for grants must be submitted to the Foundation prior to December 31 of each year.

  4. All inquiries regarding the grants program of the North Indiana United Methodist Foundation, Inc. should be to the Foundation in writing or by calling 765-664-2327 or 866-669-2327.
