The Foundation offers a variety of planned giving tools. We help donors select the best tools to achieve their objectives in furthering the work of their church or other ministry.
- A Life Estate Agreement provides for the transfer of title to your home
- or farm to charity while you retain the right to use the property for the remainder of your life. You retain any income the property produces during your lifetime. You also make any repairs or improvements that you desire (you also retain responsibility for maintenance costs).
In the year title is transferred, you get an income tax deduction. Upon your death, the charity receives the property to use in supporting ministries that you have designated. The property is excluded from your estate for both tax and probate purposes.
